As some of you may know, I’ve been having issues for nearly a year now with pain and numbness in my hand and arm. After an unsuccessful carpal tunnel surgery last November, my pain only became worse. I have not been able to write much, the occasional blog here and there (I’m typing with one hand still) but I’m hoping that will change soon. This Tuesday I’m having surgery on my spine and neck. It’s quite complicated but the neurosurgeon is confident that this has been the problem all along. It’s a bit scary. I’m so tired of the problems and pain though, I just can’t wait for it to be over and get on a path to being stronger and sexier again. One of the hardest parts for me is that I will not be able to have sex for at least a couple of weeks, maybe more, while I recover. I’m blessed with a husband who will be there for me and help me through it all every step of the way. I may not be on here nor my social media much for a while. I really have no idea how recovery will go. I may be bored, stuck at home and able to be on my phone or computer and post more frequently. The uncertainty about recovery time is giving me a lot of anxiety. What helps me with anxiety? Sex.
